The Ukrainian-Russian War and Japan's Role
The Foreign Minister's absence from the G20 meeting held in India on March 1 and 2 has caused many controversies. Moreover, there was little reaction from the rest of the world to this, with the exception of India, which had expected Japan's support.
Unlike the G7, the G20 includes the United States, China, and Russia, and
is divided into anti-Russian and pro-Russian groups, and agreement cannot
be reached.

2. World War III and Nuclear War
The war is expected to be prolonged, and the
production volume of tanks, artillery, fighter planes, etc. and the number of
soldiers will determine the trend of future battles. Considering that Ukraine,
a democratic country, is supplied by NATO countries including the United States
and Japan, while China, Iran, and North Korea supply arms, ammunition,
munitions, and daily necessities to Russia, an authoritarian state. We can even
say that we are already in World War III. There are also threats to use nuclear
bombs if Russia is cornered, making nuclear war more likely than ever.
NATO Member States (in order of membership)
Iceland, United States, Italy, United
Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, Denmark, Norway, France, Belgium, Portugal,
Luxembourg, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland,
Estonia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Albania, Croatia,
Montenegro, North Macedonia, EU, (30 countries in total)
3. Japan's role
As you can see from the data of countries around the world, Japan is one
of the major powers, and has connections with the world's leading countries
through trade and investment. China has its own merits as a coordinator,
America as America, and Japan as Japan. Japan should not keep its position
as a bystander.
The G7 meeting in May will be held in
Hiroshima, and it is planned that the G7 leaders will be guided to the Atomic
Bomb Dome. However, no one believes that a guide to the Atomic Bomb Dome will
prevent a nuclear war. To truly stop nuclear war, an agreement between world leaders
is needed.
Until now, Japan has not played a major
role in mediating international disputes, but this time it must be prepared to
make a full-fledged effort to stop nuclear war.
For this reason, it is necessary to have
people who fly around the world 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and take into
consideration the needs of each country in the world to lay the groundwork.
Therefore, the government should give careful consideration to appointing him
as Minister of State for Special Affairs and entrusting him with this important
role.
No effort is wasted in all efforts to stop
nuclear war.
