神田明神には三柱の神様が祀られ、一ノ宮は「だいこく様で縁結びの神様」、二ノ宮は「えびす様で商売繁昌の神様」、「三ノ宮は平将門で弱きを助け、強きを挫く神様」になる。
神田明神では2年に1度神輿天国が行われ百基を超える町会神輿が神田明神にお祓いを受けに来る。この時に神田明神から秋葉原にかけての神田明神通りは神輿が陸続として坂を上って来て見る人を圧倒する。

At Kanda Myojin Shrine, a mikoshi (portable shrines) heaven is held once
every two years, and more than 100 neighborhood mikoshi (portable shrines)
come to Kanda Myojin to receive exorcisms. At this time, on Kanda Myojin
Street, which runs from Kanda Myojin to Akihabara, the mikoshi (portable
shrines) come up the hill, overwhelming the viewers.
